Serving on a Committee
Once we have completed additional administrative steps on the road to becoming an officially recognized Main Street Program (see our checklist), we'll be recruiting for volunteers for the 4 standing committees:

Participating in Events
The committees will need additional volunteers for individual events - when they call for volunteers, please consider donating your time.
Business Sponsorship
Business can become sponsors of the program by donating their time and expertise. You do not have to be on a committee in order to assist the program. The purpose of Dormont Main Street is to serve your business - please consider sponsorship. Contact us for more information.
Community Involvement
A strong business district is a huge benefit for a community. We ask that Dormont residents assist the program, and their community, by:
- Attending Program Events (like the Wine Tasting, the Garden Tour, etc)
- Inviting friends and family (from any community) to attend the events with you
- Speaking positively about the businesses and business district in Dormont: represent your business community with pride and know that steps are being taken to improve it
- Provide input and suggestions to the program leadership
