In spite of the Penguins playoff game, there was a good turn out at our first recruiting meeting and many members of the community expressed an interest in becoming a member of of a committee!
We are considering holding another public recruiting event in the near future - stay tuned...
The meeting started off with an introduction of the program, its goals, and the roles of the standing committees. After that presentation, a Q & A session was held, and then attendees were invited to sign up for the committees that most interested them. Also at this event, Dormont Council members Blair Brockmeyer, Drew Lehman, and John Maggio were on hand to offer support and ideas for the future of the program.
